Here is a list of Web 2.0-ish sites that I use on a daily basis:
- Email: Outlook Web Access
- Email: Google Mail
- Time recording: Harvest
- Extranet: Basecamp
- Website analysis: Google Analytics, Technorati
- RSS reader: Newsgator Online
- Motivation: Joe’s Goals
- Blog (this site): Wordpress
- Blog (ModernPilot.com): Joomla
There are lots more, of course, but the point here is that all these sites have become an intimate part of my working life in the last twelve months.
Whether ‘Web 2.0′ is a useful term or not, something is happening to me.
PS I just got my beta access to Coghead, an online database and business application builder, and I’m really looking forward to getting some time over the holidays to experiment with that.

Good choice of tools. I must agree that tools like these have become a part of many of our daily lives.
I agree with Gino, this is a great selection of tools, most of which I also use on a regular basis. I never really know what is truly ‘2.0′, but I would also have to agree that the way I work has definitely changed.
I’ve put together a guide on my site to suggest to small business /home business owners how they can use some of these free tools (as well as some others, although they’re mostly Google tools) to work smarter (available at http://www.lucasmcdonnell.com/2006/11/26/8/).
