- Seven simple ways to dramatically improve everything you write on Write to Done. A nice summary of Strunk and White for anyone who hasn’t read it or needs a reminder. (See also my book review of The Elements of Style on this blog.)
- The words you wear. The author of Managing Humans compiles an index of management jargon to show why we should avoid it. (See also Business clichés you love to hate, Buzzwords from hell and the Devil’s Marketing Dictionary parts one, two and three on this blog).
- Tim Ferris on Blogging without killing yourself. (I don’t think he means that literally.) It’s an interesting perspective on how to get started as a blogger and as it’s presented as a video, it’s easier than actually reading anything.

Hi Matthew,
I know you like to share writing tools, so I thought you’d like to hear about this (if you haven’t already):

It’s a tool that *forces* you to keep writing. If you stop writing it plays nasty sounds, or deletes the last few words you typed, or delivers painful electric shocks [not yet implemented].
hi Matthew your writing tools are really helpful thanks for these valuable tools.
