Several years ago, I wrote that I want Scrivener for Windows and it has had 16,403 page views since. It’s obviously something that other people want too. It also came up in my interview with Sci-Fi author Charlie Stross.
And now, wonderfully, Literature and Latte are developing a Windows version and you can download the beta version. I have just downloaded it and I’ll write a review soon.

I downloaded the Beta version and Norton promptly removed it with a message that the download didn’t have enough of a history to allow me to trust it. I disabled Norton and now I’m giving it a whirl. Thanks for letting us know about the Beta version.
Thanks for the heads up! Just downloaded it and am about to go play. I had been thinking about purchasing Writer’s Blocks (www.writersblocks.com), which I enjoyed testing. It will be interesting to see how they compare.
7 november 2011 -> Scrivener for Windows is live!
After more than one year of beta testing Scrivener for Windows is now a stable application and gold for every writer.
