Happy people, productive people

by Matthew Stibbe on October 8, 2007

I’ve spent the last month or so working on copy for an HP website, known internally as ‘Happy People’. It’s all about the ways in which technology can make employees happier and more productive. The first element is ‘give me back my time’ which recently went live.

[Update March 6th 2010, most of this content has moved to HP's new Business Answers website along with a lot of new stuff.]

Overall, there are about 14,000 words on the site, some of which is product-focused, but much of it is classic Bad Language style tips and tactics. Enjoy!

There’s a typo on the headline of the first page. I presume it gets better from there?!

Maybe I’m being dim but I can’t find it. Could you be more specific? (I have seen a typo in the alt text for one of the images which I will ask the agency to correct).

the headline on the first article reads:

“commuting cost money and make people anxious”

    shouldn’t it be costs?

    I found a little mistake…

#15 If you in the chair
    should probably be
#15 If you’re in the chair [or something similar]

    Keep up the good blog!

Thanks Bruce. I’ll see that the copywriter is taken out and shot. Oh, no, wait! That’s me.

Actually, I’ve passed this on to the web developers who can correct the mistake on the site.
