Google Minesweeper and WikiCalc

by Matthew Stibbe on June 10, 2006

Following my preview of Google Spreadsheets, I came across a couple of interesting things which I wanted to mention:

  • WikiCalc, from Dan Bricklin, is a web spreadsheet that seems to have some useful multi-user functionality.  Somehow I missed it from my list of online spreadsheets.
  • Video on the Web posted a delicious parody of Google Spreadsheets hype.  I feel chagrined by my own coverage.

Hi! Have you seen EditGrid also?

There’s a comparison between EditGrid and google spreadsheet here:

You may wish to take a look!

I did see EditGrid and it is already in the list of online spreadsheet a couple of posts ago in the article previewing Google Spreadsheets. Looks good, I think. Thanks for the update. Matthew
