I have written a book – 30 Days to Better Business Writing – and I’m publishing it as a FREE eBook to ensure that it can help as many people as possible.
You can read it online or download a PDF here on this blog.
There’s no catch. The book is completely free.
If you find it useful, tell your friends, share the link, leave feedback, hire Articulate to do some work for you.
Benefits of better business writing
Wouldn’t it be great if everything you wrote was interesting, credible and effective? Wouldn’t that improve your proposals, emails, presentations, web copy, press releases?
You’re probably an expert in what you do and I know you already know how to write. But can you write well? Can you write copy that makes the reader want to keep reading? Can you close the deal?
I give you expert insight into what works and what doesn’t.

As an English-speaking translator/copywriter/trainer located in France I’m very excited about this and plan to start working my way through the course today! I am sure it will be chock full of juicy “use-now” tips. The table of contents already has me motivated. I promise to spread the word!
Sara – thank you for the kind comments and for the link on your blog. I hope you find the book useful and many thanks for spreading the word. Best wishes, Matthew
What a terrific start to the week, thank you Matthew!
Like my colleague Sara, I am a French-English translator, copywriter, and trainer in France and your book is precisely the type of resource that makes me sing
.
The SFT and Ujjef periodically hold workshops to help professionals polish their writing style — but typically in French. Would you be open to the idea of running a workshop in France for business English professionals?
Patricia
P.S. My pilot husband enjoys GolfHotelWhisky — it helps him keep up his aeronautic English.
Patricia, Thanks for the kind comments. I hope you find the book useful. I’ve been chatting to Sara about the possibility of running a seminar in France. My French is really just at a schoolboy level so it would have to be in English (although if there are any Dutch readers out there, I could try a Dutch version!). But, yes, in principle, what fun! Let’s do it.
Thanks for this great book Matthew. I’m looking forward to getting to work on it! Oh, and if you do come to France, I will definitely attend your seminar.
Great! Thank you, Matthew.

Tweeted! BTW, is there any way to order a printed copy of the ebook? I’d love keeping a physical copy around and giving it away to others as well.
@Julio. Thanks for the tweet and comment. Really appreciated. There isn’t a printed copy of the book but you can download the PDF version and print yourself a copy.
Matthew, just a quick thank you for the book – just what I need to improve my writing, especially for blogging. Really like the exercises at the end of each chapter – great way to learn. Will be back in 30 days to let you know how I faired.

Excellent.
I am sorry I did not get to reading this until now. I am making this one of my prime resources for business writing advice.
Have bookmarked in Delicious, saved in my Evernote, put a copy in Google Docs, saved a copy on the thumbdrive I always carry, and tweeted, posted to my Posterous and Blogspot blogs.
Thanks
