Customer Service Representative 2.0

by Matthew Stibbe on July 1, 2007

Phil wrote a comment to my earlier post about silly job titles (specifically ‘customer service representative’) asking me what job titles I would use instead. I agree that ‘servant’ is a bad choice but I never suggested it. Here are some possibilities:

  • Representative
  • Agent
  • Assistant
  • Expert
  • Advisor

I don’t think these names demean the people involved and they are shorter and more informative.
