Blogging in the Telegraph

by Matthew Stibbe on June 20, 2006

I got a quote in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday, including a website link to my writing business [tag]Articulate Marketing[/tag], and my traffic stats for the site actually went down. The article is interesting though. It’s about blogging for business. There’s also an online version.

An old-school PR firm would say this was great coverage in a high circulation quality newspaper. I would rather have 2,000 readers come to my blog every month and have a relationship with them than have 700,000 Telegraph readers ignore my quote.

Still, I *was* quoted in The Telegraph. It’ll make my mother proud.

Great quote, Matthew, in a very useful article. Thanks for letting us benighted Yanks know about it. I’m forwarding it to several new bloggers!
