I got an email this morning at 9.30 offering me a breakfast or lunch meeting with someone who is reasonably senior in a large, well-known computer company.
The only problem was it was for tomorrow.
This is probably because they had the guy ‘booked’ for PR for the day and had a cancellation.
It isn’t exactly flattering but, okay, I’d be interested in talking to the guy. I reply at 10.30 giving two times that I can do (although I have other plans for the day which make it a bit difficult).
By the time I write this (6.15pm) I haven’t had a reply. So not only do they not have enough respect to give me a reasonable notice of the meeting but they can’t even be arsed to give me any kind of answer to my email.
Needless to say this is the same PR company and client that dicked me around over the trip to San Francisco (posts passim). You know who you are. Be very ashamed.
