550,000 years of labour lost to blogs

According to Advertising Age (and subsequently reported in The Atlantic Monthly this month), in 2005 American workers will waste the equivalent to 551,000 years of labour reading blogs.

Which is about the same amount of time wasted writing them. It’s karmic.
